Samantha began playing volleyball around age 12 for Illini Elite Volleyball Club out of Bloomington, IL. From there, she began her collegiate career at Heartland Community College, competing in the NJCAA and played there for 2 seasons. She then continued on to play at Saint Xavier University, where she competed at the NAIA level for her last 2 years.

Samantha has also coached for the last 4 years: 3 years at Illini Elite Volleyball Club and this most recent spring at 1st Alliance/Lions Jrs.
