Bailey Houlihan

  • Bailey is a current Master of Occupational Therapy student. She is an alum of University of Memphis with a B.S in Health Sciences with a concentration in Exercise, Sport and Movement Sciences. She played volleyball at University of Memphis receiving Second Team All-AAC in 2022, receiving Honor Roll 7 times throughout her career along with recording 1,282 digs, 234 assists and 41 aces in her four seasons. She continued playing her 5th year with her first semester of OT school at North Central College in 2024. She started all 30 matches throughout the season with receiving CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year, AVCA First-Team All-Region and AVCA Honorable Mention All American with completing 575 digs and 54 aces.

    During her high school career, Bailey played for Neuqua Valley as a libero with recording 1,302 digs and 99 service aces with helping Neuqua to three consecutive 20 win seasons. She played 7 years of club volleyball at Sports Performance and 1st Alliance. Throughout high school and college summers, Bailey worked at Neuqua Valley camps and 1st Alliance coaching girls from 10 to the varsity level.

  • My coaching philosophy is centered by developing the athlete into a well-rounded volleyball player. My purpose is to provide positive communication and provide purposeful training to enhance the experience. I coach with strong fundamentals for long-term success as a past student-athlete. My overall goal is for every athlete to leave each session with more knowledge, skills, confidence and motivation.
